Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon and Hyoyeon Bought Houses for Their Parents 

Girls’ Generation‘s Taeyeon and Hyoyeon revealed that they each bought houses for their parents.
The two members appeared as guests on the February 5 broadcast of SBS’s variety show “Strong Heart.”
On this day, Boom prepared and hosted a short sub-talk show called, “Everything About Girls’ Generation.” Boom suggested that they open up and honestly talk about Girls’ Generation’s incomes and various rumors regarding the members.
Boom asked Taeyeon, “I heard you bought a house for your parents. How many washrooms are there in the house?” Taeyeon replied, “There are three washrooms. I bought the house for my parents.”
Hyoyeon also revealed, “Recently, I bought a small house for my parents as a gift.”

Kara’s Kang Ji Young is the latest girl group member to be criticized for her reckless behavior on the road.
A Pink’s Jung Eun Ji received a lot of scorn last month for violating a traffic law and potentially causing a huge traffic accident. Wonder GirlsSunye also received criticism for covering her wedding car’s license plate with “James♥Seonye.”
She posted an apology through twitter on January 28 that reads, “We rode the wedding car when it was pretty dark outside and were pretty out of it so we weren’t able to notice the car’s license plate.. We want to say that it was unintentional and deeply apologize for not catching that! Wedding car is only on wedding day! That’s only for formality~^^”
After the latest traffic violations committed by girl group members, netizens seemed to be keen on digging up any more childish behaviors committed by celebrities. They found a target through Kang Ji Young.

Big Bang’s G-Dragon has landed himself a new solo CF with cosmetics brand, The Saem, which was previously endorsed by IU.
On February 6, a representative of The Saem stated, “We have selected G-Dragon as our new exclusive model. We believed that G-Dragon is the person who could best express our ‘Global Eco The Saem.’ As the most beautiful face that works in harmony with the free, happy, showy, thrilling traits of nature, we have decided on G-Dragon.”
G-Dragon has already begun filming the CF on February 4. Several days ago, the singer also shared a photo of himself at the studio, tweeting “Global Eco The Saem shoot.” G-Dragon’s photos and CF for the Saem will be released early March.
Meanwhile, G-Dragon will kick off his “2013 G-Dragon World Tour” in Seoul on March 30 and 31.

SHINee to Comeback with New Album on Feb. 19, Releases Key’s Teaser Images 

It has just been announced that SHINee will be making their comeback on February 19 with their third full album!
Their title track “Dream Girl” is said to be dance track with a bright feeling to it.
Being one of K-Pop’s top boy groups, there is much excitement for their Korean comeback. After releasing their fourth Korean EP “Sherlock” in March of last year, the boys went on to promote in Japan for most of 2012.

2AM’s Jung Jin Woon and Go Jun Hee Confirmed for “We Got Married” 

2AM’s baby Jung Jin Woon and actress Go Jun Hee will be the newest couple for MBC’s variety reality show “We Got Married” season 4. With a six year age gap, they will replace MBLAQ’s Lee Joon and Oh Yeon Seo couple.
Go Jun Hee’s agency stated, “They finished their first filming on February 3. Only a few staff members were allowed to participate in the filming so there’s not a lot of details known, but we heard that the filming finished smoothly.”
The production staff for “We Got Married” shared, “We were debating who to choose after Lee Joon and Oh Yeon Seo and decided on the latest ‘hot’ actress Go Jun Hee and witty Jung Jin Woon.”
It’s been confirmed that they will make their first appearance on the variety show after Lunar New Year’s, but the exact date hasn’t been revealed.
Meanwhile, Jung Jin Woon is currently busy preparing for 2AM’s new album, which will be released in early March. Go Jun Hee is currently immersed in her role within SBS’s drama “Night King.”

In the pictures is Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon, who is on her way to the filming of KBS’s “Music Bank” that took place on February 4. Taeyeon is bundled up with a heavily padded dark jumper and a pair of bright green gloves, and appears to be walking very fast to get to work. Because of the cold temperature, Taeyeon is huddled up and is frowning adorably.

Lee Jung appeared on the latest episode of MBC QueeN’s music talk show “Concert QueeN” where he showed off his smooth voice singing ballads as well as opened up about his thoughts on relationships.
MC Ju Yong Hoon revealed that Lee Jung previously described his ideal girl on a television show. He would like the girl to be family-centered and gentle. The MC asked him if he has someone in mind and Lee Jung replied, “Park Bo Young” and received big cheers from the audience.
Usually, celebrities will move on to the next topic, but he took the opportunity to express his wishes. The MC asked him, “For 2013, what kind of article do you want to see on the news?” Lee Jung replied, “Lee Jung and Park Bo Young in an electrifying relationship.” He humorously went on, “Park Bo Young denies the relationship,” “Lee Jung’s side acknowledges,” “Park Bo Young says Lee Jung is nothing more than an ‘oppa’ and nothing less.”

Suzy Writes Her New Year’s Greeting on Her Script


Suzy, though hard at work for her new drama “Book of the House of Gu” did not forget to greet everyone for the Lunar New Year. In a photo just released, the miss A member wrote her Lunar New Year greeting on a copy of her script. With “Happy New Year,” she also wrote “Fighting,” showing affection for cast and staff of the production, and finished off with her signature in a flourish.
Like previously reported, Suzy has just participated in the first script reading for “Book of the House of Gu,” which is her first attempt at a historical drama. She co-stars with Lee Seung Gi and Lee Yeon Hee, among others. The drama is under the helm of Shin Woo Chul, who also directed successful dramas “A Gentleman’s Dignity” and “Secret Garden,” with writer Kang Eun Kyung, famous for working on “Baker King Tak Goo.”
Fans will be able to catch Suzy in her latest acting project when “Book of the House of Gu” premieres in April.

2PM‘s Nichkhun recently donned a purple wig for laughs and pulled off yet another adorable look for the camera.

In the photo, Nichkhun poses prettily for the camera with two hands daintily holding his wig down in a feminine manner. CNBlue’s “Re:BLUE” Special Limited Edition Is Sold Out

CNBlue, recently back on the music scene after 10 months, records another achievement in their list of successes. According to reports in local news agencies, the special limited edition of their fourth mini-album, “Re:BLUE” is sold out.
The “Re:BLUE” special limited edition features individual covers of each of the members Jung Yong Hwa, Lee Jong Hyun, Kang Min Hyuk and Lee Jung Shin, as well as pictures and artwork from each of them. Each member participated in the design of his own edition.
Further reports said the special limited edition is doing well in the domestic sales charts, with the regular edition following closely behind on second place. According to a statement from CNBlue’s management agency, FNC Entertainment, “The record is doing well in the domestic charts and overseas, particularly in Japan. We have received news that it is currently out-of-stock and we are flooded with inquiries for reorders.”
CNBlue has already marked a milestone with the release of “Re:BLUE” in mid-January as it featured leader Jung Yong Hwa’s self-composed “I’m Sorry” as title track. The song, which speaks of a break-up and a love gone awry, has found a following among fans waiting for the chance to hear the band’s own compositions as promotional singles. The entire album is also made up of tracks that are all written by the band.
In addition to the release of the “Re:BLUE” special limited editions, the regular editions of the album will also debut in Taiwan on February 20 and in the Philippines on February 23.

Girls’ Generation’s YoonA clears up any misunderstandings that she’s “chaebol” status.
On February 5, all the members of Girls’ Generation were invited to appear on SBS’s “Strong Heart.” On this day, Boom held a corner titled “Everything Concerning Girls’ Generation” and started off by saying, “I was really surprised when I saw an article that claimed ‘Girls are Chaebols.’” He went on, “That article stated that YoonA received 4,000,000,000won (~$4 million) for the last half year.”
YoonA explained, “I was also surprised when I saw that article. However, it’s not true. If I made 4,000,000,000won for half a year, it means that I made 8,000,000,000won (~$8 million) the whole year. That’s completely false.”
Meanwhile, all members of Girls’ Generation, Gong Hyung Jin, Jun Hyun Moo, Kim Young Chul, Noh Hyun Hee, and Choi Song Hyun appeared on this episode of “Girls and Uncles Special.”

Sunye Will Leave for Canada on February 7, Undetermined Whether She Will Come Back 

We reported before that Sunye might be leaving the Wonder Girls. This was a question that fans were asking after JYP Entertainment announced that the upcoming 2013 Pyeonchang Special Olympics might be the last performance Sunye has with the Wonder Girls.
Well, it looks like it might be a bit early to be too worried!
On February 6, a representative of JYP Entertainment stated, “Sunye will leave for Montreal Canada, to go to her new home with her husband James Park. Sunye will start her married life there. In May she might return back to South Korea.”
Then, the representative spoke about whether she might come back to the Wonder Girls or not. The representative stated, “For a short while the Wonder Girls will focus on their individual activities. We are still in talks of when Sunye might return to ‘group activities.’ Just like we have said before, Sunye is not leaving the Wonder Girls. She is just going to focus on her married life for a while.”
Sunye got hitched on January 26 with James Park.

Kang Min Hee of trio Miss $ released the music video for her solo single “It’s You” on the Brand New Music Entertainment official YouTube channel.

Kang Min Hee’s soulful voice powerfully expresses the emotional pain of waiting for someone. The music video sets Kang Min Hee walking down a popular street in Gangnam, Seoul. Girl’s Generation Reveals Picture of Their Private Pajama Party in Japan 

Girls’ Generation’s after work dinner party pictures were revealed and spread around various internet sites.
On February 5, the Girls’ Generation members were invited as guests on SBS’s variety show “Strong Heart,” where they revealed a picture from their party.
The revealed photo was taken while they were in Japan for their concert tour. Instead of going to a fancy restaurant, they held their party in a room where the group was staying.
In the picture, the members appeared to be very comfortable in their natural setting wearing no makeup and in fact, some of the girls posed with their facial mask packs.  The girls are seen partying with a bit of alcohol accompanied by some snacks.
When emcee Boom saw the picture of Hyoyeon‘s head wrapped in a towel, he made the audience laugh by saying, “You look like Chae Rina [from 90s idol group RooRa]!”
Sooyoung explained, “This is our place in Japan. We named it Icheungkaya. We created it from the word, Izakaya. We just bought some beers and partied by ourselves.”
